No download, no account. Open it in your browser, add it to your home screen so it feels like a real app, and unlock it with your license key.

Open the app

Go to app.beginagainapp.site in any browser, on your phone, tablet, or computer. You can look around for free before you unlock the full app.

Add it to your home screen

This is the important step. The home-screen version is where you unlock the full app with your license key, and where it works offline. The browser tab on its own is just a free demo. Pick your device:

iPhone or iPad (Safari)
  1. Open the app in Safari (not Chrome, this only works in Safari on iOS).
  2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add. The Begin Again icon appears on your home screen.
Android (Chrome)
  1. Open the app in Chrome.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right.
  3. Tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
  4. Confirm. The icon lands on your home screen like a normal app.
Computer (Chrome or Edge)
  1. Open the app in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Look for the install icon in the address bar (a small screen with a down arrow), or open the browser menu.
  3. Click Install. Begin Again opens in its own window.

Unlock it with your license key

After you buy, you receive a license key by email from our checkout. Open Begin Again from your home screen (step 2), and the unlock screen will ask for your key. Paste it once and everything opens, on that device. Note: the unlock screen only appears in the installed version, not the browser demo.

One gentle tip

Your entries live on your own device, not on a server. That keeps them private, but it also means they are yours to keep safe. Every so often, use the export options in Journal to save anything you would hate to lose.
